Welcome to Seoul! This will be your arrival day. Take a taxi, the bus or underground from the airport to the hotel. You can check-in to the hotel from 3pm onwards and make yourself comfortable. There is nothing scheduled for today, we recommend sleeping off the jet lag, so you can be all set for the eventful week ahead of you.
Monday (Day 1)
We will start of the day with a welcome brunch where you will meet your fellow group mates and the tour guides. Meeting point is 10pm at the hotel lobby. We will start the tour in Seongsu - the Brooklyn of Seoul. Seongsu, a former industry region, now popular for its cute pop-up stores and cafés. We will walk through the city and also visit Konkuk. Where we will show you a fun alternative to the famous Hongdae district. Afterwards we will head to Myeongdong just in time for the night market to open.
Tuesday (Day 2)
On Tuesday we will visit the bougie Gangnam area so you can get a taste of Gangnam Style for yourself. We will show you around famous districts of Gangnam such as Garosugil and Apgujeong. We will walk along the K-Star road where you will get a glimpse of your favourite Kpop groups. In the evening we will make our way to the Han River, where you can enjoy a beautiful light show along with some Ramen or Korean snacks.
Wednesday (Day 3)
We will go back in time and pretend to be princes and princesses of the Joseon Dynasty while visiting the royal palaces. You get to wear traditional Korean clothes (hanboks) and get your hair done. Furthermore we will visit Hanok villages to stay in our true Joseon era. Later in the evening we will visit the Namsan Tower so make sure to bring your locks if you wish to perpetuate yourself in Seoul.
Thursday (Day 4)
We will make a day trip outside of Seoul and head to Suwon, which is about an hour away from the metropole. We will walk along the astonishing wall of the Hwaseong Fortress and visit some famous Kdrama filming locations. In Suwon you truly feel like you're the main character. To add the cherry on top, we will visit the beautiful Starfield Library, where you will also have the chance to do some shopping if desired.
Friday (Day 5)
We will start off the day by visiting the stunning architecture of Dongdaemun Design Plaza. Afterwards we will fill up our tummys at the Gwangjang Market which was even featured on Netflix. We will continue the tour at famous Seoul Universities where many Kdramas have been filmed. Since it's Friday we can't miss out on a night out. For this we will head to Hongdae and see what club hopping is all about. If partying isn’t your style, no worries - Hongdae is also packed with vibrant street performances and charming boutiques waiting to be explored!
Saturday (Day 6)
We are sure there are some places and stores you want to visit again. That's why we will keep the schedule short today.
